The Scriptures The Bible is inspired and the only infallible and authoritative Word of God.(2 Tim 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21) The Godhead There is one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (2 Cor. 13:14; Dt. 6:4; Isa. 43:10) Man-His Fall and Redemption Man is a created being, made in the likeness and image of God. Man, by voluntary trangression, fell and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ (Gen. 1:26-31; Gen. 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21) Eternal Life and New Birth Man's first step toward salvation is Godly Sorrow that worketh repentance. The new birth is neccessary to all men, and when fulfilled, produces eternal life. (John 3:35; 1 John 5:12; 2 Cor. 7:10) Water Baptism Baptism in water by immersion is a direct commandment of our Lord and is for believers only. The ordinace is a symbol of the Christians identification with Christ in His death, buriel and resurrection. (Matt 28:19; Romans 6:4; Col. 12:2) Baptism in the Holy Spirit The Baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers in the dispensation and is received subsequently to the new birth. The initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit give utterance may accompany this experience (Matt 3:11; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4, 38-39; Acts 19:1-7) Divine Healing Healing was purchased for us wholly: body, soul, and spirit. It is wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith and by the laying on of hands. It is provided for in the atonement of Christ and is a privilege of every believer (Isa 53:4-5; Matt 8:16-17; 1 Peter 2:24)
